Downtown Nashville’s Historic Noel Place will be converted into “Noelle Nashville Hotel” and become part of a new independent brand from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc.
The Noelle Nashville Hotel will include the Trade Room Lounge restaurant, Rare Bird rooftop bar, speakeasy themed concept Makeready Libations & Liberation and Drug Store Coffee.
High end hotel operator Starwood recently launched its Tribute Portfolio collection of independent hotels and stated they are working with Columbus, Ohio-based Rockbridge Capital to open three hotels – Nashville, Savannah Charleston.
Nashville-based hospitality design firm FH Design is the architect for the project Rockbridge plans at the Noel Place property. That independent Tribute Portfolio hotel is expected to open in 2016 at the building near Printers Alley.
Starwood’s goal is to have 100 Tribute Portfolio hotels and resorts over the next five years, the company said recently when announcing the grand opening of Royal Palm South Beach Miami.
Millennials, a key portion of SPG members, are prime targets for the Tribute Portfolio brand.
There are currently 11 Starwood properties in Tennessee. The Westin Downtown Nashville just across from Nashville’s Music City Center is set to open in early 2017. Other Starwood hotels in Nashville include Sheraton Music City and Sheraton Nashville Downtown.
